Gut Schönweide – a paradise for yourself & horses

For a long time, the search was on for the perfect place to ensure optimal horse keeping. In 2016, it was finally found: the approximately 280-hectare former Danish estate Gut Schönweide, located between Plön and Lütjenburg in the beautiful region of Schleswig-Holstein.

Overgrown, neglected, and forgotten as if in a Sleeping Beauty slumber, it lay there — yet with incomparable charm and a breathtaking landscape. Over the course of seven years of phased construction, and with great dedication, a wonderful stud farm was created. Today, it offers broodmares, foals, young horses in training, and breeding stallions the very best conditions for rearing, riding education, and care.

We are delighted to offer breeders a carefully selected collection of breeding stallions at fair conditions, as well as honestly and professionally trained sport horses for amateur and professional riders alike.
