Follow Up

When a breeding station lines up an offspring already from the first crop of their main sire, this stallion must be something very special. Follow Up combines with his outstanding three gaits and the secured pedigree all that we hope from a future sport horse. We are very happy that we were able to acquire this gorgeous stallion.

His sire, our Follow Him’s Schönweide, Oldenburg premium stallion as well as main premium winner OL, inspired the breeders and committee with his hereditary power in his three foal crops with strong movements. Several of his offspring are premium foals, received the Elite Foal Certificate, been admitted to Lienen and have been the top priced foals at auctions. Follow Him delights us daily with his uncomplicated, friendly characer and his joy of learning under saddle. In spite of the high demand as a breeding stallion, he was well-placed several times at medium level.

The combination of our Follow Him’s Schönweide with the mare Diamonds Topper Girl by Diamond Hit and Londonderry was just a perfect fit. The dam’s sire Diamond Hit by Don Schufro x Pik Bube has more than proven his hereditary power with over 73 licensed sons and more than 1000 registered sport horses (150 of them in advanced (S) level). A special addition for us is the connection with the Celle state stud stallion Londonderry by Lauris Crusador xx x Warkant. At that time Champion Stallion, Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2013, highly successful in sport and also sire of countless offspring successful up to advanced (S) level.

Follow Up convinced the judges and the audience at the 2-Day-Stallion test in Vechta in December 2022. He was the clear winner receiving the highest endscore with the emphasis on dressage, 9,02, and with very high notes overall. For the canter he got a 9,2, for his willingness to work a 9,5, and the test rider gave him for his rideability a 9,3. In 2023, he he finished his sport test with good linear profiling. The first crop of Follow Up’s offspring convinced both us and the breeders. The foals were without exception very well and powerfully moving, as well as typey. Numerous breeders repeated the pairing, which speaks for itself.
